IBA/OBL 2024 Annual Convention | June 24-27 | Amelia Island, FLAs part of the 2024 Annual Convention agenda, the IBA and OBL will conduct a series of current breakout sessions and an Executives & Directors Workshop. For individuals and companies involved in the banking industry, the opportunity to speak at the Annual Convention is viewed as a significant benefit. Please submit all required information no later than Friday, January 5, 2024. Concurrent Breakout Sessions (8): Wednesday, June 26, 2024Executives & Directors Workshop (2): Monday, June 24, 2024 Qualifications• IBA or OBL Member• Session MUST be issue-oriented and content-rich. The sessions are NOT a forum to sell products & services.• Selections will be made based on the relevancy of the topic and speakers’ qualifications to present on the proposed subject matter. Session Selection• The IBA or OBL staff will contact you directly. No phone calls, please.• All proposals will be reviewed by an IBA/OBL selection committee. Decisions will be made and notifications emailed no later than January 20, 2024.• The session will be promoted in all Convention marketing materials.• IBA/OBL do not pay honorarium or expenses for breakout session speakers.• If you are utilizing handouts, it is your responsibility to provide printed copies for distribution to session attendees.• Speakers will be required to use their own computer for each session. AV needs must be coordinated with IBA/OBL staff. Substitution PolicySpeaker substitutions are subject to IBA/OBL approval. In the event a proposed and confirmed speaker cannot fulfill his/her commitment, the presenting company will not be guaranteed a speaking slot for an alternative representative. Presenter Fees• Presenter is responsible for all related travel, overnight costs, and other expenses.• Presenting company must contribute $4,000 in a Breakout Sponsorship to defray the cost of meeting room space, audiovisual equipment, and break station.• Presenting company is listed as a Breakout Sponsor in all marketing materials (online and printed).• Presenter receives one complimentary convention registration (an $895 value).
