Join bankers from across Illinois for a day at the Capitol focused on building relationships and influencing the future of banking legislation. IBA Economic Investment Day provides a behind-the-scenes look at the state legislative process and an opportunity to engage directly with lawmakers on key banking issues.
The day begins with a Legislative Briefing, where members of the IBA’s lobby team and legal counsel share the latest political and regulatory developments shaping our industry. You’ll also hear from influential state leaders who provide insight into current legislative priorities and what to expect this session.
After lunch, you’ll head to the Capitol for meetings with legislators and a group photo in the Capitol Rotunda, followed by our Illinois Bankers PAC Brews Fundraiser and an evening Legislative Reception with elected officials, legislators, and staff.
